Coils: inner diameter 300–500 mm, outer diameter up to 1,350 mm. The applicable standard and temper are confirmed for the selected grade.
- Specifications outside these ranges are reviewed individually.
- Delivery condition, finish and quality documents are agreed in the quotation.
Stainless, carbon and spring steel strips
Stainless strip grades include 1.4301, 1.4310, 1.4401 and 1.4404, with 2B, 2R/BA and 2H finishes. Carbon steel strips include annealed and hardened options in grades such as C67S, C75S and C100S. For spring steel strip, specify the grade and condition, hardness or tensile strength and tolerances. The term “spring strip” alone does not define the full specification.
Thickness, width and edges
For a quotation, include thickness × width, quantity, grade and delivery condition. For carbon steel strip, specify slit, natural, deburred or rounded edges. Aluminium, copper, brass and bronze strips are also listed by grade in the tables. For corrosion-resistant applications, the grade must be assessed against the actual operating conditions and medium.
Selection and ordering — practical questions
How do I specify 1.4301 or 1.4310 stainless strip?
Along with the grade, specify thickness, width, tolerances, delivery condition and finish. For spring applications, add strength or hardness requirements. The 2B, 2R/BA and 2H finishes and standards listed in the table must be matched to the order; not every specification is available in every size.
Is acid-resistant strip a specific steel grade?
“Acid-resistant” is an application description, not a complete grade designation. The range includes 1.4401 and 1.4404 strip. For contact with a particular medium, provide operating conditions including temperature and environment. The grade must be assessed for that application before ordering.
